At the Gleneagle Clinic we pride ourselves on being available for our patients. That means that we endeavour to cover most emergencies that arise.
However, if a patient is unresponsive or in severe pain, please call 999 without delay. CPR should commence if the heart or breathing have stopped.
If there is no emergency of that nature, it is advisable to call us for advice or an appointment. As described in the FAQ's, we try to see people out of hours if necessary. We ask that people phone first, as we may not be in the surgery after hours but can be there if notified in advance.
During the night, we are covered by Doctor on Duty (available on 01 453 9333) who provide a locum service for us and our patients. They can provide a mobile, house-call service during the small hours of the morning.
